Week of 8.18.14 :: Alt Hip-Hop/Rap * Watsky - Whoa Whoa Whoa

...Bet you didn't think there was such a thing as Alternative Hip Hop, huh?

 I came across this track on Spotify's "New Music Tuesday" playlist, but after doing some more searching, discovered that this guy has an alternate claim to fame.

George Watsky, aka Watsky, first grabbed people's attention as a slam-poet, having been a teen champion in the Bay Area several times over. Now in his late 20's, he has released a few rap studio albums - the most recent being "All You Can Do", on August 12, 2014.
